There was this X-Men comic from the late 90's called Mutant X, which took place in an alternate universe where the X-Men were all vampires and monsters and other such evil type stuff. Brute was the monstrous version of Beast. You are now 30% nerdier for having read all that.

One of the best character redesigns from one of the best X-Men stories of all time. Not sure if it still holds up to my cherished memories, but it blew my mind when I was 12.
