A sample of pages for my, and my writing partner Markisan Naso's, upcoming book, Cretaceous.
Daily Sketch: Nightcrawler
World's greatest X-Man, done in pens and markers.
Daily Sketch: Chamber
Back in the good ole' days of the mid 90's, there was an X-Men book called "Generation X" about the next generation of teenaged mutants. I really loved the book at the time, and thought a lot of the character designs and powers were really fresh and unique. Chamber was a guy full of psionic energy inside him that burst through his body after an accident ripped apart his chest and jaw, leaving him disfigured and glowing. Gnarly. I busted out the pens and markers for this one, in preparation of doing commissions at C2E2 next week.
Daily Sketch: Cretaceous #1 cover
So, I haven't put up any sketches for a while, but I had a very good reason. The past week or so I've been working into the wee hours of the morning putting the finishing touches on the extra large "Cretaceous" #1, a new comic series created by my pal Markisan Naso and myself. We both put our hearts and souls into the book, and I'm really proud of the results. I will have black & white copies for sale at my C2E2 booth from April 25th - 27th. The book is 48(!) pages of comedy, tragedy, action, time travel, knife-wielding Grannies and lots of dinosaurs. So stop by if you can. But if you can't make, we should have extra copies to send out via mail after the show's over. Here, for your viewing pleasure is the first look at the wrap-around cover to the issue.
Daily Sketch: Captain America vs The Winter Soldier
In honor of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", its.......... Captain America and the Winter Soldier. I could not be more excited for this one. Go see it. It will be awesome, I promise.
